For parents and caregivers

ScamperCub is a service for adults creating printable activities for children. An adult must make the purchase and have permission to use any child information or photo they provide. Please use a first name only; do not include a date of birth, school, home address or other sensitive details in the personalization or dedication.

What we process

We process the first name, selected age, player and team choices, colors, hiding-place selections, dedication and optional photo you choose so we can check your configuration and build the PDF. Checkout creates an order with these choices, price, payment references and delivery status. If you email us, we also receive your message and contact details.

Your optional photo

A photo is optional. The uploaded image is cropped, resized and re-encoded, removing image metadata such as EXIF/GPS. Only the processed derivative is stored for generation; the original upload is not retained as a file. We do not use your photo for face recognition, biometrics or AI transformation in this escape room. The processed photo is deleted from active upload storage after the PDF is generated. Your downloaded PDF still contains the photo you chose.

Payments and service providers

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles payment details, receipts and applicable taxes under its privacy policy. ScamperCub does not receive your full card number or security code. We send only an order reference and a checkout correlation value as custom checkout data, not the child’s name, dedication or photo.

Render hosts the app and private order files. Backblaze B2 stores encrypted recovery copies. Authorized operators and service providers process data as needed to deliver, protect and recover the service. Hosting and payment providers may process connection/security logs under their own policies. Data may be processed outside your country; the current app and backup storage regions are in the United States. We do not sell personalization data or use it for advertising.

Order access and cookies

An essential, secure browser cookie grants access to your orders. There is no customer account. Keep the browser used to purchase; clearing its cookies or switching browsers can remove access. An order link alone does not authorize a download. We use hashed request identifiers for rate limiting and do not add marketing or advertising trackers to this website.

How long data stays

• Unbound photo uploads expire after 2 hours; uploads attached to an incomplete order expire after 72 hours.
• Unpaid order records are scheduled for deletion after 72 hours.
• PDF download access expires 30 days after generation, and expired PDFs are scheduled for deletion.
• After 90 days, the child’s first name and dedication in paid or refunded order records are replaced/removed and order-token access is closed. Other order and payment references remain for service records.

Cleanup runs periodically, so physical deletion may follow the expiry time. Private encrypted recovery copies and hosting snapshots can retain earlier data for roughly another week, subject to provider lifecycle processing. Copies are not public downloads; a recovery must apply current expiry and payment checks before reopening access. Support correspondence may be retained as needed to resolve your request and keep necessary service records.

Questions or deletion requests

Email admin@scampercub.com with your order reference to request help accessing, correcting or deleting your information. We may need to verify that the order is yours before acting. Do not email card details or unnecessary child photos. We will explain any records we need to retain and the remaining backup-retention window.
